Nobody said that that's a legitimate reporter. That's another one of those conspiracy theories that we need to stay away from. The conspiracy theory was that the teleprompter shattered. It clearly did not shatter.

If you look at a photograph of the ear it has a hairline scar and two bumps where the cartilage was punched through by the projectile. Cartilage doesn't heal up the same way skin does. The distance between those bumps is approximately the same size as a NATO .223 round.

I think the important thing to focus on is the behavior of his fan club. After this happened, just like they would have done in the French Royal Court, they emulated his envelope-sized bandage which was completely disproportionate to the size of the wound.
