I've been saying this for years. We always get lumped in with the rest of England just because we happen to be on the same landmass, when they probably hate us more than anyone

anti scouse rhetoric from the rest of England is fed by and can by traced back to anti-irish sentiment. They never saw us as 'proper' english. I can attest to that having left liverpool at 18 and the amount of fights I got in just for having my silly accent
