My daughter visited a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it.

Best time to visit is late September through early November. Best weather for walking, eating outside etc. Catch an Uber to visit the neighborhoods and ask locals where to go for great meals - don’t bother with the tourist restaurants.

There are places in literally any and every city on earth where people won’t walk after dark. I live in a tiny town in a red state with about 2000 people total. And there are neighborhoods here where walking after dark isn’t a great choice.
