like i mentioned the japanese manual DOES say something about birdo being confused gender-wise but still says "this is a guy named catherine"
also in BS Super Mario USA, some graphic cards had birdo striking feminine poses while having deep voices what was interesting to me is how it's mentioned the voice actors for the three birdos were SELF-IDENTIFIED "newhalves" which i found striking. like it's transphobic but also inclusive?
