I have two a-/anti-social-ish adult kids in their early 20s and for them I think pandemic cut the heart out of building community in college & after. My 19yo is an absolute social butterfly w/a mixed group of friends. Core group of a 12-15 and a wider satellite group that rotates. Always has been.⬇️
(When he was six or so I asked him to help me with a cleaning chore and he very seriously thought about it and told me "my talents are making friends with older kids and making a mess. I can't help you." Fair enough.) It's kid by kid as always but pandy kept a lot of these kids cooped up too long.
