Just FYI there was a gigantic multi-plaintiff federal lawsuit (MDL for you lawyer folks) in New York that alleged acetaminophen causes autism and it got dismissed because the judge excluded ALL of the plaintiff's scientific experts for lacking reliability. And judges almost never do that.
Obviously the conspiracy goes all the way to the top
I suspect rightwingers hate and fear those on the autism spectrum in the much same way they hate other groups that do not fit their narrow view of how the world is supposed to be. The implicit message is they want to eliminate people who do not conform.

The standard for expert witness testimony in court is like “at least reasoning that’s specious”.
That's good. But, the problem is that this admin has planted seeds of doubt that will damage our ability to get people to understand or accept medical standards. They are destroying public health.
Correlation =/= causation All of the mothers of kids with Autism also breath air. Air causes Autism. Baby tylenol is not causing literal genetic changes in the womb.
