Since I’m a liberal, let’s go ahead and teach kindergarten kids about pride parades, sex, drugs, mental disorders, gun rights, HIV and everything there is from an early age. correct?🤦

That's a rather fatuous argument & something beneath you. I agree with Greg, LGBTQ is not a "topic", it's society. Acceptance of differences in society is a learned behaviour, so is bigotry. I know what type of environment I would want kids learning in.

I fully support teaching kids tolerance and the fact that some have same-sex parents. But pride parades and flags and this whole LBGTQ culture go beyond that. Kids are too young to be learning about this. That was my whole point. Maybe i should have better worded my tweet

I’m sorry but in your responses I continually see reference to pride parades. I don’t get it. What’s wrong with a parade? How are these bad things for kids to read about? Frankly I don’t think pride parades are « taught » in school. Though may appear in a book kids read.

Do you hear yourself 🤔 Kindergarten age kids learn by osmosis, they mimic what they see & hear, they're little sponges of information. Your "I know they exist but they're all a bit uppity & in your face for my liking" is quite the take. 😳 Acceptance without judgement, no "Buts". It's that simple😌
