As a big believer in free markets, I don’t support all of Zohran’s policies/rhetoric. You don’t have to agree 100% with any candidate. But what other real options do New Yorkers have? NYC should give him a chance. If his ideas can improve life for the average New Yorker, that’s a win for all of us.

I dont agree with rethoric, like "Billionaires shouldn't exist" and also i am not a fan of govt operated supermarkets etc as govt are not efficient. These concepts go against free markets
And hoarding wealth is a moral failing when the majority of people can't afford housing.
Again. I dont support everything he says, but I agree with the majority of his policies. Yes, billionaires should be paying more taxes. Yes, NYC rents are crazy and they should be freezed Police/Fire Dept r essential services. If supermarkets are run the same way DMV is run, there will be wastage
So fire departments, police departments should all be privatized? Even DOGE couldn't find inefficiency and they were looking for it. Medicare is far more efficient and beneficial than private insur companies. Having city run grocery stores alongside private biz sounds like a win for low income ppl.

Billionaires are in no way necessary for a functional society, and Amazon has outcompeted thousands of mom and pop stores.

Yes. Some markets should be regulated if need be, especially the health care market. But it doesn't mean the government should start importing and selling medicines itself.

He will have to navigate some very rough waters. He might not get all of everything he wants. To be clear, I hope he succeeds.
I'm not American, but he seems like a good guy to me... I had the same preconceptions before Obama's election. Here in France, radical leftists are truly dangerous when it comes to islamism, and besides, we don't have the same relationship with religion in France as in the USA.
