It's interesting how an unschooled man who has ignored laws his entire long life has been able to rile up the masses to insist all "others" from "elsewhere" are unfit ((nay, criminal) even if they did nothing more than fail to update paperwork or file the right papers, decades ago. Demagoguery much?

It's not only that. Even before being propagandized, there are always masses who are inherently lazy, willing to let others do the work, willing to blame others for their own failings. And there's a strong desire in many humans to feel superior. Trump validated all those urges.
All while consolidating + corrupting every check on his lawless power.
