Besides, he slashed Medicaid funding, so soon many nursing homes will be forced to close. Trumps may have to hire 24hr private nurses, dieticians, physical therapists, etc., and he could live another 5-6 years. A good LTC can cost $180k-200k/year. THAT'S WHAT REAL AMERICANS FACE EVERY BLOOMING DAY!
Since he's drastically cut Medicaid, many others will not be so lucky. They'll go down fast without all the medical advances available to lucky ones who can afford them. Plus, what kind of work could he do to repay tax payers for the handout? We don't want him running the country (!), so that's out.
Here's one lucky thing for Trump: His family will be able to afford the neurosurgeon visits, physical therapy, speech therapy, swallow therapy, occupational therapy, psychiatric drugs, highly trained psyche nurses and a good nursing home which can run anywhere from $170,000/yr to all $$$ you have.
As someone who cared for and watched my husband deteriorate from frontotemporal dementia and multiple strokes over 8 years, I can tell you what's ahead is not a pretty sight. Do you think Melania will feed him and change his diaper? Help him walk? Keep him entertained? Keep him from falling?
Unlike Trump, Bibi is no dummy. He has to keep this war going because he'll go to prison when he steps down from office. So, it's a smart move for him to pretend he's only following orders from his best friend, the king of the world. After all, what are friends for? Now they can blame each other.

Turkish + Colombian Spanish together must sound like lightning coming at you from two directions! I think multilingualism is almost necessary today and will be more important as more people migrate to escape climate change/war. Some of my grands are trilingual but don't know how lucky they are.
I think Dutch is much easier than German but it's hard for people speaking those two languages to understand each other. Nouns don't have genders in Dutch. Syntax is similar but cadence is different.

Ha! Gut! My Dutch is better than my German but neither are very good anymore. I use Dutch mostly to antagonize my German DIL, who insists on continuing to speak German at home when I visit, even though she speaks perfect English.

Could be. Except for the fact that he can still walk, T is at just about the same stage in (frontotemporal) dementia as my husband was when I had him committed. It was painful for both of us, but absolutely necessary. I could not control what he was doing 24/7 and he was a danger to himself/others.
I'm haven't seen anything in the Post yet, but that doesn't mean much. He was so out of it during mid-week that none of this surprises me. Maybe the family has finally taken control? Who knows? I think we will, and soon.
