I wholeheartedly agree on supporting artists. Incredible collection, and I have an inkling it's high quality. I'm listening to the latest Dopplereffekt right now and I simply would not hear a lot of it's glory and nuances on a €1000 system. I buy mostly used gear because I'm a nurse.
I spent most of my 20’s in SF scouring the used bins of the numerous record stores (if only I’d bought Disco & Italo) But I was obsessed with House, Techno, and Drum n’bass. Hip hop got a look in too.
Sounds like you picked the right genres if you ask me. I know italo is super expensive now. Most of it is derivative shite in my humble opinion.
