hasn't been the case. it's been so so interesting to see the differences in dialogue and approaches to various things; some of it i like very much but other times i prefer the non-MW version of the dialogue. it's neat to have so many options for RPing though!
i have a lot a LOT of thoughts but it would be way too long-winded for a bunch of skeets at one in the morning, but the short version is that all the ways to romance Emmrich (or any of them) with *any* Rook are great! and which one you like most will just be down to personal preference and ~vibes~

that's exactly what i'm doing! once i returned to the internet after my first (SD) playthrough, i saw SO many posts that had me believe it was the far superior option, which ngl made me kinda sad about my version, which i had so loved. but i think they're just different, not better/worse!
Wow, I had such a similar experience. I didn’t go snooping at all until I was finished with my first pt, and then came back online only to find everyone raving about how the MW romance with Emmrich was superior 😕 You’re so right - it’s all about personal preference and there’s no superior option!
I mean, MW is amazing, but I think I prefer the dynamic of Emmrich and non-MW Rook for RP.
