Life affirming: thanks. Our third rescue pup was mistreated for the first 8 weeks of life - we got her at 10 weeks after 2 weeks with a good foster family. 2 years later, she’s great with us; still scared of new situations and wary of new people. Don’t mistreat dogs or people: scars them for life!
