My very best dogs have all been 'pound puppies'! I had a great Dane mix that was a nanny dog to my children! I'm too old to adopt now, but I'm glad you are! What a joyful story! You made my day and you've made that baby girl's life. Bless you! It all comes back to you..

I love this, but wish the word “miracle” would go away forever. That implies some supernatural force assisted in this. If anything it was fortunate. It was the help and caring of everyone involved that gave this pup a new life. Give good people their flowers.

Ever notice how many pit bulls end up in shelters? Not the dog's fault. They just seem to have a special appeal to assholes. In Baltimore, I saw pit bulls dragging *enormous* metal chains around while their owners foolishly imagined those poor mistreated dogs made them look more manly.
