We did this with Jaxson, who was found by NYPD and brought to a kill shelter. Rescued. Loved. Gives love. A gentle giant. Tomorrow is his last day with us as he’ll be handed over to his new forever home. We will miss him terribly. He’s been an amazingly wonderful boy. Rescue. Rescue. Rescue.

We adopted a stray. Turns out he was very abused: scars on his head, missing teeth, and a crooked nose indicate someone hit him hard in the face. Then there are the pellets in his abdomen where someone shot him. But he is the sweetest, most lovable dog we've ever had. Adopt, don't buy.
