When you zoom in and see the beautiful details of the bird it really comes to life. Until viewed large I just couldn't see the grasshopper, but it's there and had a lucky escape. I think the kestrel is my favourite bird and this is a wonderful image of one hunting.

A fun night time image indeed from Ian. I presume it's reflections in the canal or marina, but it poses so many questions and is a real clever image with beautiful colours.

Another image that asks questions. I love the wonderful lighting and shadows and the beautiful (literally) cinematic feel. Lots to look at and enjoy in this photograph.

Just a sunflower.....but what a sunflower!! This has been superbly processed with clever use of textures to produce a very atmospheric painterly image!

Thanks so much Mick 🙏🏻 You didn’t hang around this morning 🤭 Thanks for the Alt text comment too! Of course I didn’t know that I’d caught the grasshopper until I reviewed my shots. I loved the extended leg and talon in the pose already so the grasshopper was a real bonus 😁 Well done all 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
