If they don't find it relatable or they just don't seek it out, it's clear they only pick up what they hear via social media/radio/tv and honestly, that's okay. I like to dig a little more, but that's how it goes.
It’s fine, if that’s the case. It’s not a moral failing or anything. All I’m saying is that rap continues to be a genre that has a *broad* appeal that sometimes doesn’t go deep enough past a few artists to be appreciated for all the great stuff being made within it.
This happens to a degree in every genre, in which artists who make incredible stuff hardly get a crumb because they’re not one of The Big Names.
