laughing pretty hard at this blitz game where after ...c4 my opponent offered a draw. when i rejected it he messaged me going "bro you can't make a queen it's a draw" so I proceeded to take the c4 pawn, march my c-pawn down the board, make a queen, and checkmate him with it
honestly i was tempted to promote to rook just to fuck with him

yeah exactly! it's easy to unblock that pawn and keep it safe from the only piece that could get at it
