My brother, a horrible person and long term drug user, died when his large and small intestines ruptured. It took almost 48 hours for the sepsis to shut down his body and nothing could manage the pain…or so I was told. I would be good with this happening to him.

Ruined nostrils won't kill him though. I'm betting the poor diet will take him down. I'm cool with his heart failing, and if that's not enough, perhaps complications from dementia will finally kill him. It's perhaps not the most painful way, but I'll take what I can get at this point.
