I wasn't in Toronto long enough to flip that switch, and most of the time I've spent in Canada was before things were like this and was certainly before I worried about any violence (teen and younger--pre-Columbine). At that point, l'ecole Polytechnique was one of the more famous shootings.

It's hard to imagine wanting to travel here. Like we have a ton of majestic and historical sites to see, but our society is sooo sick.
