Range is only one factor that determines use of projectile. If stated specifications are correct, the Flamingo is faster than any other Ukrainian long-range strike weapon currently in its arsenal (except ATACMS if there are still any left). It also has a significantly higher payload.

My understanding of today's 3 flamingo missile strikes on a Russian barracks was this was the first live test use under military conditions. So it makes sense that they didn't test out its max range. I think this strike was more about testing accuracy and potential devastation. It got an A+ in both.

The target is important, not the range! Crimea is the target because there is actually a higher probability that Ukraine can get it back than with Eastern Ukraine. Ruzzia has big problems with logistics in Crimea. Even though the Kerch Bridge isn‘t destroyed, it isn‘t usable for military… 1/x

…transports anymore. To retake Crimea, Ukraine must suppress RU Air Defense there. This is what the GUR is currently doing! The next step is to establish Air superiority. The F-16 and Mirage could probably help with that. The final question is if Ukraine has enough troop reserves to invade. 2/end
