That equal rights for trans women takes away from cis women only makes moral sense if you believe that trans women aren't really women (i.e., are undeserving of equality). To see why, think about saying something like "equality for black women means taking rights away from white women." 2/7

If you say trans women aren't really women, then what are we? We must be something else. An "other" with a "mental disorder" that makes us think we are women. A disorder that means not being treated as women makes us suffer. A disorder for which there is no known cure other than transition. 3/7

TERFs try to get around this by claiming that you CAN cure transness... through conversion therapy (like "gender exploratory therapy.") Much like gay conversion therapy, there is 1) no evidence that this works and 2) evidence that it causes more harm. Facts don't care about their feelings! 4/7

Helen Joyce and her legion of despair want to "keep down" the number of transitioners... yet they preset no other solution for what to do with us. They just downplay or even ridicule the idea that we suffer if denied transition. They honestly don't care if we do. They think we deserve it. 5/7

If we want to be treated as full and equal citizens in TERF world, we can't transition. Otherwise, we would be "women" subject to unequal treatment and even persecution. But if we don't transition, we suffer. Many of us would not want to live like that. Many of us would rather die. 6/7

So, I say to "liberals" like Ana Kasparian, this is what you are standing for. You are standing for the annihilation of trans women. There are millions of us who simply want respect and equality as women. You are telling us to just go suffer and die. Well, we refuse to do so without a fight. 7/7
