Interesting. I like some true crime. If it's done in a documentary style rather than sensationalised. For me it's just a way to get crime related facts. But I'm horrified by people that interfere with live investigations to generate "content".

But I think it gives people a very distorted idea of what crime is like. If it’s about raising awareness about a miscarriage of justice, corruption or something like that, that’s one thing, but that’s pretty small proportion — and even then it’s often presented as drama rather than documentary.
