Largely (I think) people like my mother, for whom voting Conservative is just what you do. Mum is 83.

My father (77 at the time) told me prior to last year's GE that for the first time in his life he wouldn't be voting Conservative. Initially I was pleased, but as time has gone on I have been wondering whether his vote went somewhere even worse...
