Labour had at least 3 days to prepare for today, since the Times outlined what the Reform proposal would look like. It's utterly incompetent to have no rebuttal message to deliver with that much notice.

I increasingly suspect it's not timidity, but agreement. These aren't left wing politicians chasing right wing votes as misguided strategy - they're right wing politicians selling their policies to the left as "pragmatism".
