I was on a crowded district line train into the City this morning. I was the only one in a suit and tie. And I'm only wearing it because I'm going to be filming this afternoon. How the world has changed.

As it always does. I hated suits and ties. One major life assurer I worked for in the 1990s had a rule that you had to wear your jacket if you left your desk, later relaxed to if you left the floor. Not great clothes for cycling to work.
