We need something trite like: There is no r in business There is no s in government. Apples & oranges. One accrues profit after tax. The other provides essential services to all. When no business tax collected, no government services available w/o tax per person increases to pay or shutter services
I keep telling people who are whining that you can't reduce debt by cutting revenue. When you're having trouble paying your loan or mortgage, the banker doesn't tell you to quit your job.
Wait for when the trickle down cascade turns tsunami with everything sucked out only to crash down on each of us. I’m afraid hard times may be understating the outcome.
