If it’s under Title 32 authority, the Texas guard remains under state control. That would mean that one state is deploying armed forces into the territory of a non-consenting state. And that’d clearly be a violation of the principle that states are co-equal, territorially limited sovereigns.
Honestly I’m not a fan of all the civil war language that has been tossed around over the last nine years, but if ever there was a moment where we were on the brink of it, this is it.

FYI I was able to get brand new Pfizer Covid-19 today in Texas at Walgreens. The pharmacist said I was the first at their location. Said the new Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine arrived on Saturday. Walgreens is allowing any 65 and older to get vaccine. But need to have underlying condition for others.
