Had 6 days off work booked off for summer hols, but thanks to the house dragging on had to cancel it. Told the HR wonk I had canceled the days but would need to likely take 2 of them off for walkthrough/signing. Was then given a 15 minute lecture on how I was letting down the team. Hate this place.
It’s their long form “look how much work you’ve caused me” to process two pieces of paper.
The hilarity is that its all digital and automated. I did the canceling of the time myself, and the lecture was about putting the team under pressure by being out. “Er, I’ve gone from being out 6 days to 2.”
