I forgot Brent Spiner was in this aaaa
That’s a Data point I’d forgotten about that movie! And what a movie it is, too.
Same, Whitmore is one of my favourite fictional heads of state. Super talented and inspiring, the complete opposite of our current circus. Ever read the novelisation? Adds a ton of extra details, and part of a bigger book universe that adds a lot of lore, much better than the official sequel.
I'm especially bullish on the book War In The Desert. A semi-sequel book to ID4, from the POV in the Middle East, with a hasty and feisty alliance of a bunch of MENA air forces and the UK, followed up with a cool ground guerilla war between the Harvesters and humans.
I watched thunderbolts and realized that Lewis Pullman is Bill Pullman’s son! That had escaped me until I was glancing at the cast list before the movie. We all need more Pullman’s in our lives I think
He was good in the strange but compelling 'Outer Range' as well. Sadly cancelled I believe..
