Nah, asking someone to condemn "long live the Revolution" in a context where that clearly referred to an attempted mass expulsion via terrorist atrocities is totally above-board. You don't get a pass for branding *your* war a revolution.
And to be clear, I'm a socialist and I think the old KGB propaganda tactic of shoving liberatory language on anything the USSR happened to support at the time is exactly analogous, equally worthy of condemnation, and in fact exactly the exemplar I want to make a principled rule about.
