There is something so dystopia about a white rich woman lounging in her chair with her legs crossed talking about pipelines and settler colonialism and genocide when the living, breathing Natives are telling her "Hi, we're still here and how you talk about us is disrespectful af"

Idk I think we can and should move past the whole "we're going to talk ABOUT you, but not TO you, because we have to control the narrative at all times"

I want to move past it. But I also can't. All I've done for decades is fight for inclusion, dignity, and respect for others. As soon as we get half a step forward we get dragged back miles. Idk maybe I'm just tired today.

as long as an occupation exists on turtle island, the settlers will have the systemic power to make this happen. our historical task is not to fight for recognition under a settler state, but to destroy the settler state and restore indigenous nations, on their own terms.

Just how callous and obtuse she chooses to be and her fans just jerk to it to fuel the misinformation further. I'm so tired.
