On that note if you're not Indigenous, don't call us Indians either.

She's actually talking about that: Supposedly some hate being called native Americans even more, because the term was introduced by white people.
Ffs shut up
Please, respectfully, stop.
It's not supposedly!

And she was VERY misinformed and incorrect with that assessment. Which is a hell of a thing to be wrong about and wouldn't have happened if she had a Native sensitivity reader.
Yes, this keeps happening from many white creators who speak about marginalized groups of people without speaking individuals or experts within those communities.
Whitesplainers everywhere!
You’re speaking to an Indigenous person. We all know very well which words we do and do not find acceptable to us.
The term Indian was also introduced by white people. Also why are you using the word 'they' when you are literally talking to Native people?
The terms used vary; but its generally best practices to call people either Native (sense American), Indiginous or by there specific nations. In Canada First Nations is acceptable for Native people who aren't Métis or Inuit.
Thank you!
You're literally speaking to an indigenous person. Try listening instead of continuing to expound on your own ignorance
