Catching things early also saves the NHS £m as prevention or early treatment is lot cheaper than all the long term care and pain. Really sorry about your dad.

Twenty years ago now. There was very little screening at the time. It was scary how quick it was from noticing something was wrong, getting a diagnosis and dying. Gotta get screening done early, then you at least have a chance of survival.
