Which makes Torrens pitching the 9th inning last night make even less sense. Why didn’t they just keep Castillo in the game?

We're not privy to the special secret logic at play here, I guess. None of what Mendy did last night made sense. They were fortunate to escape with a win, in spite of scoring 19 runs.
