Too cute for a doctor visit
Too cute for a doctor visit
He/She wants cackleberries, scrambled. I'm fluent in Schnauzer, which is close enough to Corgi.
Awww, hope everything was ok.
Missy tell moom you are a carnivore
There was my usual salmon food under it. I did not want any of that drivel though and now I have to get nasty shots. Moom says at least RFK JR can't mess with corgi shots.
Yes thank goodness he can’t mess with animals meds
Ohhhh that’s definitely different. I hope she decides to eat
Well her pickiness will be brought up to the vet.
By the way, Missy is GORGEOUS 😍
Great idea
Beautiful dog.
(Under her breath) Yeah, like my ancestors hunted green beans in the wild. 🫢

Of course, everyone would be afraid of going to a doctor, especially on their first trip. But don't worry, once you get to the process, you'll get used to it in no time
Nobody does honey. Hang in there.
Resist!!
oh, but does the vet give you spray cheeses while they are giving the jabs --- I love the spray cheeses!! ❤️. Hope the trip isn't too bad! 🤞❤️ Gus (Fergus)
Ain't no cure for cuteness!
We all feel your pain. But your health is important.
Hey
It's for your own good, sweetie!
Missy is like mum, she also does not eat if she has to go to the doctor. THE DREADED SCALE! ⚖️
Weight was 28 today they are currently giving her her shots. She is in a mood.
Is 28 good or not so good?
Weight was fine we had a different vet who Moom was not a fan of today. Moom is pretty upset right now to the point she's considering switching practices.
Once had a vet piss me off because he said I had to put my dog down. Went to another practice for a second opinion on a condition called wobbler dog syndrome. They put her out, x-rayed her, and gave her cortisone shots. She recovered and lived to the age of twelve.
This one insisted there was something wrong with her paw because she'll sometimes lift it up even though the same practice dx'd it as allergy related. Did not look at the chart and dismissed me when I mentioned it was already talking up surgery and I was like she is not even in pain or limping on
it. She'll just occasionally lift it up when she wants attention.
Needless to say I am not paying for $800 in x-rays if nothing appears to be wrong especially when I spent $700 today on shots, exams, meds, and nail trim.
Yeah the rigging of prices at vets is causing people to not be able to afford appropriate care for their animals.
And some of them prey on anxiety. If there was an issue I'd do it but there hasn't been. I will probably get her the supplement she suggested but she was saying how I should get it from their office. The airhead tech at least told me after she left I could get it cheaper from Costco.
WOW! Sounds like the up sale to me. I would be pissed, too.
The only thing that has me sort of concerned is she mentioned hearing a clicking noise but I am pretty sure it were her nails which needed to be trimmed. I did look at her bio after I talked to her and she's fairly recently licensed and worked primary in an ER vet which may explain some of it.
