Lakeside, oldest amusement park in Colorado (built 1908), in our Denver 'hood. Kerouac sometimes hung out here in early 1950s, wrote about it in "On the Road" (“rode around a sad little lake in a toy railroad"). Still there. R : 150-foot "Tower of Jewels" at main entrance. #AmusementPark #History
