I sat on my couch on 1/6 wondering where the gunfire would start coming from. When none came It was obvious it was an inside job. The Secret Service, FBI, CIA, Military were all in on it. The Capitol Police were the only ones doing their jobs that day. Trump won't make that mistake again.

I see some people defending Garland again with the 'time ran out' canard. Well ... Garland didn't name Jack Smith as special prosecutor until November of 2022, almost 2 years into the Biden administration. That's 2 years wasted twiddling his thumbs. An SP should have been named in January of '21.

Should have been arrested 5 minutes after Biden was sworn in. You know what happened, Hubris. All those old farts like Biden and Pelosi thought he's toast, he'll never come back. Better not upset the GOP with an arrest or else they won't work with us which is stupid because they'll never help.

Deadline ? What deadline did Garland or Smith miss 🤔 Please explain to me and the rest of the World, under what authority does the AGOTUS have to force the SCOTUS or any Federal Judge to deny an accused "duty process". Trump was scheduled to be tried March 4th 2024. That was the only deadline ⚖️

There's a strong correlation between the time spent and the quality of the work. Had a fatal flaw been overlooked, that would have been as bad an outcome. The D.C. Circuit Court had already struck down the immunity claim unanimously. Law students will marvel at this for decades to come.

I doubt Garland was dragging his feet. Gathering the evidence took time, and was itself fraught with legal maneuvering by those involved to avoid giving testimony. There was also the effort to prosecute 'from the bottom up'... 1600 cases (scroll down for the database) www.npr.org/2021/02/09/9...
