Plenty of time to demand perfection and proffer suitable candidates by showing up for the caucuses and primaries. 'One and done' got us where we are now.

People weren't asking for perfection - just acknowledgement of an ethnic group's humanity. I do agree that there should have been more suitable candidates offered, and I wish that the Democrats hadn't primaried people Cori Bush etc. Also, local elections matter a lot
