i'm not a warhammer 40k player, but i know enough about the lore to know there's nobody good in the setting, it's magnitudes of "least monumental arsehole" comparatively speaking. Or Magnificent Bastard if we're talking about Trazyn the infinite.

"The Infinite and the Divine" has Trazyn as a co-protagonist. The other is his opposite in many ways a lot of the book is just straight up Spy vs Spy level nonsense with two incredibly petty undying robot skeletons. It's fantastic.
