Thx for this. NP just dismissed me as not ready to taper (18mg HM-contin). Waitlisted for ankle & spine surg, on blood thinner -APS w/ gastric & liver disease- 2 rheums & weight specialist said NO gaba, NSAIDs/COX2. Returned leftovers & been careful. Without care now. No continuity. It's sickening.
I worked in SU & complex care 20yrs & saw 2016 guidelines get misinterpreted & cause harm. A bunch of clients & a few coworkers got cut off & died from poisoned unregulated supply when seeking pain relief. Seems the guidelines part on examine bias, not impose goals & be trauma-informed got skipped
