That is awesome!
That is awesome!
Literally Spielberg.
Add potted plants for the jungle. More steps
Love it! 🦖
Dino mite!
this is great! good job!
Reminds me of my first super8MM animation from 83. LOVE IT <3
Tremendous!
Excellent!
Title this film, “Brenda, I Know He’s Not Perfect…But I Can Fix Him” and it will win the Cannes Film Festival.
Told the story as well as Spielberg ever did.
Nice work. Ray Harryhausen would approve I’m sure ✌️
Your kid is talented! 👏
To the director: I learned so much about stop motion from a short doc called 'The Making of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas' youtu.be/ksu_7e3EGLg?... My favorite stop-motion film of all time is James and the Giant Peach. It combines live-action and stop-motion in the same movie!
Have you seen Marcel the Shell with Shoes On…? 98% on Rotten Tomatoes (spoiler: have tissues handy)
I love this! Very awesome. 😊
Wow!
Wonderful!! 🤘🏻🖤🤘🏻 Gives me memories of my young days when my Dad, brothers and I did stop motion using my Fisher Price Little People using video cam with no sound and watching it on the projection screen in the living room. 🖤
Wonderful! The hasty re-blocking as the minifig moves one step closer to the t-rex's mouth turns this from a predation into an assisted suicide.
Noice!!!
🤘🤘🤘🤘
Still a better love story than twilight.
Tastes like chicken. 🦖
Interaction between two elements! Not bad for first time.
OMG I love it!!!! Do more!
You have the making of a Ray Harryhausen!
Well done! Bravo!!!
Good job Kiddo!
This is great!
SO COOL! Rock on, kid. Way to level up!
Fantastic!
That's brilliant!
Nice!
VERY cool!!!
Cool job. Like he eats the kid, tosses head back.
This is wonderful! I'll show my dino teen when he gets home. If y'all haven't seen it, "The Wizard of Speed and Time" by Mike Jittlov is a fun stop motion classic. m.youtube.com/watch?v=j5a_...
Well done! Love the severed legs at the end.
I love it!
It’s perfect 💯
Absolute perfection can’t wait to see how good they get with even more practice
Great start, very imaginative. Like any art, just keep visualizing and doing it. 👍🏻
So cool 👏
Extreme talent 🦖🦖🦖
🤣 The slightly delayed swallow is awesome
Very good start … takes lots of patience 👏🏼
omg!! i want to highlight the the flow of the movement during the bite-lift-swallow part at the end, it’s sooo good!!! it looks like a lot of effort went into that
I'm glad it had a happy ending!
Nice job!
He just saw this had almost 1000 likes and he is grinning ear to ear
As well he should. This is pure talent.
His cool video has ME grinning ear to ear!
It's really great!
I was really impressed. I gave him some simple blocking and framing advice but he set it and went for it.
I'm excited to see any future attempts!
Me too!!!
Very good!!!
Great rocket
This had me riveted 😳 ... Await for Act Two 🙈 ... Love me some scary stuff like this 😀
Brilliant!
You must be so proud, I know I would be
Should have turned the tv off for more seemlessness
Clever!
Dude that’s amazing
Right?! So rad
Oh hell yeah, this rocks + there better be a sequel.
I was very impressed. He tried blocking/framing up a scene yesterday and it looked like what an 8 year old would do, very sloppy. This morning I spent one minute explaining simple framing and 15 minutes later he’d set this up and shot haha.
That rocks, and impressive for an 8 year old to pick it up that fast. Show'm that doc on Spielberg when it goes into his early Kid Spielberg works, might set something off. "With a camera and a dozen buddies and Dad producing, you can do anything."
love it
The children are too clever.
Great job
😃 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 🤙🏽
Very cool! Great job!
Yes!
Awesome. 🙌
Truly a cinematic masterpiece. Bravo.
Edward Muybridge would be proud! 🥰
Well Done!
That's awesome!
Love the plot!
Gotta start somewhere and what a great start! 🦖
Nice work!
Good job kid 👍
This is fun and adorable. Remind him in the final shoots to turn off the tv. Hehe
That's awesome!
👍
Excellent work.
Great job!
Great job!
So good 💜 Remind them to turn the tv off-it distracts the eye and pronounces the stop action nature of the video
The beginning of a great adventure.
well done but the poor Lego guy didn't even try to run! 😆
Like the story.
yea, we let him watch JP when he was like 5 which in turn, ya know..lol
Tell the kiddo to keep up the passion!
You bred raptor?
Kudos to him! And you for showing support!
Love this. Nicely done! Stop Motion is pure magic at any age, and a real testament to the value patience and effort. Did a few long-ish vids with my kids during lockdown and stuck them up on YT. Passed the time in the best way.
Have you seen Marcel the Shell with Shoes On…? (spoiler: bring tissues)
I've seen the shorts, I haven't seen the feature length film yet.
It’s worth it … a masterpiece of stop motion and live action that took seven years to make … it should have won the Oscar for best animated feature in my opinion, and I liked Pinocchio, just not as much as that little shell
I will definitely check it out. 👍
Great job!
Nice. Next time turn off tv 🌬️
next time shut the fuck up and let my 8 year old have fun
Lol ok buddy that was helpful advice as the tv distracted from it🌬️
we arent winning awards, we having fun on a saturday morning as a family.
What a great job
this is *fantastic*!
You might want to install a motion detector so you can sleep at night.😳
I love stop motion. Nightmare Before Christmas is my all time favorite! You did a great job!
Marcel the Shell is my favorite … not exactly a kids movie but kids can watch it (10+ years)
Good job, kiddo! And of course, excellent subject matter!
Hell yea. SFX career in the making.
Well done!
👏🏻!!
Love it!
Brilliant - I hope a little creative criticism won’t be out of place, but maybe get the tv out of frame next time as it’s a distraction. Hope there’s a next time.
Nice! Good work!
Nice...
Outstanding work.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Reminds me of the old movies I used to watch as a kid in the '60s and '70s. Claymation?
Wow!
