I have a similar thing with MST3k when they laugh at each other’s jokes. I suppose if they did it 20 times an episode it would sour the experience. I didn’t get that feeling from later seasons of Dr. Katz though. Maybe because I buy into the idea that most of the interactions on DK were improv?

Definitely feels improvised, but there's also a lot of writers credited. I know this was an incredible nitpick. I love the show and it makes me laugh a lot.

It’s really good. I don’t know how far along i’ve watched. There’s a playlist of episodes on youtube that I’ve watched. Maybe 3 or 4 seasons? Not sure.

YouTube is how I've been watching it too. I'm into season 5 and the laughing has mostly tapered off (along with mid-credits scenes). Must've just been a season 4 thing.

(Their laughing I mean, not mine.)
