This. It is maddening how profoundly tunnel-visioned so many supposedly woke intelligent people are. I utterly give up. Our education system has failed us repeatedly and this utter stupidity is the result.

The primary election is in 3 years. There is plenty of time to find a candidate who isn’t already compromising to the far right and who believes in a basic standard of human rights. You already give up? Good, get out of the way, then.
