Difference btwn me & Trump was I was decades younger, was in excellent health before getting the disease, had a strong runner’s heart & my heart failure was essentially a symptom of the autoimmune disease. Few people mostly recover from heart failure like I did, they just manage it. Until they can’t

My younger sister died of that disease in her 40’s . She had a lot of the same underlying issues as trump, obesity, CHF, and kidney failure. Also she had Type2 diabetes which I’m shocked he doesn’t have🤷🏻‍♀️. Either way when she was at the same point in her disease, she was gone in less than 6 mo

[And to be clear, while by some metrics my heart is in the normal range, the damage left me 100% reliant on a pacemaker, & I take several heart meds to prevent backsliding]

Wow, that must’ve been really scary. I’m glad that you’re OK! I appreciate the point around having underlying health and good conditioning. My friend had a widowmakers heart attack, but his cardiovascular system was strong enough that he survived.
