I don't work for the government but my job flat out refuses to fire or layoff ANYBODY now because they unjustifiably let go an Indian woman, she sued based on the racism she both saw and experienced, won, then the bank got caught doing biased lending. So many of my coworkers are useless morons.
Ugh. That’s so frustrating. It sucks working with lazy, useless people. It’s infuriating knowing they get paid the same wage I do.

When I realized at my previous job how the slackers were getting the same raise as the rest of us..I thought fine I'll slack too....but physically & mentally I couldn't make myself do it. My work ethic's too strong😂 So I quit & moved on. I do hope you can work somewhere great soon!

That sounds about right. It's pretty much the same here in Canada. They punish those who actually work hard and make their lives hell, meanwhile the lazy asses get rewarded. I've seen it in every single job I've had.
