My partner has started flogging stuff on vinted, and I have become fascinated by how aggressively cheap everyone buying is?

She put up an old M&S blazer of mine, £120 new, I got it for £60 in a sale, condition like new and someone immediately offers £6 for it.

Oh, buddy. You ever try to sell anything on Facebook marketplace? We tried getting rid of a leather armchair for £50, the amount of people who tried to lowball us, someone accused us of lying about it being leather…

Tbh, I mostly just give stuff away, donate it to charity etc, so I'm fascinated. She put a dress up, god knows what the price was originally, for a fiver and immediately had two offers of £3.

Yeah, much the same. We were advised to put a price on it to discourage timewasters. Didn’t help! Gave it to a friend in the end.

ohhh it's infuriating, just to try and offset the postage. I've sold stuff for super cheap just to get it off my hands and people still haggle!
