2/7 Why it matters: Public exposure forces deniability to collapse. When these incidents are broadcast widely...federal agencies scramble to distance themselves...and political allies start to sweat.

3/7 Pressure Local Officials to Block Cooperation Cities can: *Prohibit local police from assisting unmarked federal agents. *Deny federal agents access to local jails...surveillance infrastructure...or street-level intel. *Pass ordinances that restrict or penalize non-transparent policing.
4/7 Why it matters: These supposed "Federal agents" rely heavily on local logistical support. Without it, their reach shrinks fast.
5/7 Support Lawsuits and Civil Rights Legal Action Groups like the ACLU and the National Lawyers Guild can file emergency lawsuits...pursue discovery, etc.
Donate to them before the so-called politicians!
6/7 *Civil suits can expose operating procedures...identify chains of command...and choke these programs with legal friction. Why it matters: Courts may not save you in the street...but they can slow, stall...and gut these operations over time.
7/7 You might not be able to stop a van from pulling someone off the street. But you can turn that van’s shadow into a national firestorm. Document. Expose. Pressure. Litigate. Vote. Never let them get comfortable.
And get on the damn phone this weekend they’re trying to pass this bill. These are the targets 202 224-3121

@therealjackhopkins.bsky.social please provide names of several reliable live stream platforms for mobile phones. People need information and options.
And get the detainee's names! In Spanish: ¿Cómo te llamas? is "What is your name?" Pronounced: Coh-moh tay yah-mahs We do not know the identities of everyone kidnapped, nor do we know where they have ended up. We do know that ICE detainees are winding up dead, injured, beaten, etc.

Plenty of happy snaps + live streaming. Number plates don't wear masks do they?
Make it a state criminal offense for any person to detain anyone in the state without first: Stating their full legal name Showing their official identification Removing any face covering including scarfs, masks, balaclavas, glasses, & shields Providing a body cam recording of the whole timeline.
Good advice, though ICE does not have badges.
Get to work
Demand ICE unmask. WHO is behind that mask? ICE agent? Little green men? Military getting overtime? Military from a foreign country? No? Prove it. Call your state representative and demand ICE unmask and show ID
Blue state? Tell your AG to fight www.bluestatedefiance.org/ice
Yes! All of this‼️
Thank you for this post. Monday morning i will contact my city hall and ask about local policies on these issues!
Don’t let the bastards get you down!
Excellent advice.
Date, ti e, and Even if you just get a picture of a badge...shows what agency the kidnappers are with. You need to know who to FOIA. Most Federal Agents badges don't have numbers on the front.
I'd also consider calling 911. All calls are recorded. Makes a record including date and time, and if done frequently enough, can put pressure on local LE. This is especially true given the recent reports of people impersonating ICE. Make the cops come out to the scene.
Pictures also show Agents wearing body worn cameras. The video is auto uploaded as soon as the cameras are docked after every op. So if you know HSI detained you for a moment at a certain date and time you should be able to get the footage with a FOIA request. Assuming they don't disappear you.
Frightening 😪 how far America has fallen under traitor trump

I hadn’t seen the unroll in action.
I'd been thinking of supporting ACLU, unsure of taking on another monthly bill. After the ICEnappings started, I did it. ACLU is working relentlessly, and supporting them does make a small dent in that overwhelming, "what can I do" feeling of despair to know you're helping them.
