When I first heard of it I thought it was pronounced the French way but I was informed it was midwestern and pronounced accordingly: Lecroy. Like Des Plaines or Montpelier.
My wife is from Nevada, and I will occasionally annoy her by pronouncing it like it’s Spanish. ¡Viva Nevada!
