I think he just genuinely likes and admires the guy, for horrific reasons. I know the "dangerous windows" meme is kind of sensitive topic, but I think we can agree that Putin seems to be able to disappear people he doesn't like. Trump is envious of that power. I think it's that simple. 2/X
If I had a dollar for every time Trump fixates on Russia Russia Russia, I would be a rich man. That is what he is afraid of. Putin knows it's true, he ordered it. Trump's ego would crash if the Russians let it be known it's true.
